Dry Suit Diver

PADI Specialty Courses

Description

Would you like to dive all year round but don't know how to handle cold water? The PADI Dry Suit Diver course is the best way to learn how to use a dry suit, which, unlike wet or semi-dry suits, allows you to stay dry and warm during your dives. You will also learn the differences between various types of dry suits and how to repair them, but importantly, during the course, you will learn to control the air inside the dry suit and consequently manage your buoyancy.

You will practice putting on and taking off the dry suit, determining the necessary weight, and mastering the basic skills of the dry suit in confined waters before making two dives in open water.

Prerequisites

  • PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or equivalent entry-level certification)
  • Total time: 2-3 days
  • Minimum age: At least 10 years
